Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a broad spectrum of legal practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law, patent law, and more. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help streamline case management, legal research, document review, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools.
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Manage and organize case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support litigation processes through document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining procedural compliance across various practice areas including general litigation and commercial disputes.
  • Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases involving personal injury, workers' compensation, or family law matters.
  • Coordinate with clients, courts, and external agencies to facilitate smooth case workflows while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings or trials by organizing exhibits, drafting summaries, and managing deadlines.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of legal procedures across multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, securities law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, family law, and general litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis; strong research skills to support case development.
  • Experience with legal case management software like iManage and PCLaw; ability to efficiently handle document review and data entry tasks.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents with accuracy; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining meticulous records.
  • Familiarity with procedural law requirements across jurisdictions; understanding of document management systems for efficient workflow.
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing clients or witnesses; professional phone etiquette for client interactions.
  • Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and administrative support with precision.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
