We’re seeking a Senior Vice President of Media Strategy to lead innovative, compliant, and performance-driven media and content automation for our franchise, retail, banking, and healthcare clients. This full-time leader will advance DBA’s strategic planning and media practice, overseeing Paid, Earned, and emerging Owned media (SEO, loyalty apps, etc.). You’ll guide multi-channel planning, champion omnichannel integration, and shape the future of media strategy at DBA - while inspiring and developing the team along the way.
Media Strategy Leadership
- Serve as the senior strategic voice across all clients with a larger backend knowledge and working role in media planning and analytics.
- Define audience strategy and content strategy for such audiences, working closely with the research and creative team.
- Translate client goals and regulatory considerations into actionable, measurable, and innovative media strategies.
- Lead the development of integrated media frameworks across paid digital, linear, social, programmatic, and emerging platforms.
Client & Team Partnership
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- Collaborate closely with account leads, creative directors, analysts, and media planners to deliver cohesive, insight-driven strategies.
- Mentor and grow a team of media professionals, encouraging a culture of learning, performance, and purpose.
Process, Innovation & Enablement
- Identify new media opportunities and thought leadership angles to keep clients ahead of industry trends.
- Lead quarterly proactive solutions across a broad range of client groups (Healthcare, QSR, Financial, Higher Education, etc.)
- Provide analytics and insights to optimize spending on both media channels and content strategies used to drive client results
Data, Insights & Analytics
- Champion an insights-first approach to media planning, using data to inform audience targeting, media mix, and channel selection.
- Collaborate with analysts and performance leads to extract insights from campaign data and translate them into strategic recommendations.
- Guide the development of learning agendas, measurement frameworks, and testing roadmaps for continuous media optimization.
- Support media professionals in interpreting performance data and making data-informed pivots when necessary.
- Ensure all media strategies are tied to business KPIs and are measurable, testable, and scalable.
- Be a thought partner to clients by helping them understand what the data means—not just what it says.
- 10 years in media strategy or integrated media planning.
- Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional media teams across digital, traditional, and emerging channels.
- Strong analytical mindset, with a proven ability to interpret data, uncover insights, and develop media strategies that drive business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and client presentation skills—confident in boardroom-level discussions.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to bring together stakeholders from creative, analytics, operations, and account services.
