Daniel Boone Conservation League is seeking our next On-Site Property Manager / Caretaker.
Established in 1929 as a members-only club, DBCL is located in Richfield and features more than 300 acres devoted to wildlife conservation, nature trails, scout grounds, a fishing pond, and shooting ranges.

The Property Manager is responsible for grounds maintenance, cleaning clubhouse areas, performing general/minor repairs, and interacting with members as needed. The selected candidate must reside on-site in the provided 3-bedroom, 2-bath caretaker’s house and maintain a professional, responsive, and organized presence six days per week.
Primary Responsibilities
- Grass cutting
- Snow removal
- Cleaning clubhouse areas including the hall, bar, and bathrooms
- Monitoring shooting ranges for current membership and safety compliance
- General maintenance of clubhouse buildings and grounds
- Must be able to operate or willing to learn to operate skid steer, fork lift, lawn mower and other property maintenance equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Basic knowledge of property maintenance, building operations, and repairs
- Ability to communicate professionally with members, vendors, and club officers
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to legally possess a firearm
- Drug and criminal background check required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk the property regularly
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds
- Ability to perform light maintenance tasks and inspections
Compensation & Benefits
- On-site housing provided
- Paid utilities (gas, electric, and internet)
- $3,000 per month salary
- Two weeks paid vacation
- Paid holidays: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
Pay: $3,000.00 per month
