What You’ll Be Doing
- Obtain information from the computer regarding assembly instructions derived from Graphical Operation Sheets, Blueprints, and Engineering Test Orders.
- Confirm sub-assemblies through Hard Turn, Hone, and Robo-Drill operations. Verify cartridge production using SAP transactions.
- Create work orders within the SAP. Enter scrap transaction and movement data for the production department.
- Interpret and implement instructions from engineering blueprints, routings, and work instructions.
- Inspect and analyze defective assemblies, then communicate findings to the Engineering team and Supervisor.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Candidates should possess basic math skills and be able to read and write English clearly.
- The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential.
- Mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes are important. Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques is preferred.
- Working knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected.
