As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you'll be a valued member of a collaborative engineering team where your ideas, curiosity, and technical skills can make a real impact. You'll gain exposure to the full product development process, from design and testing to documentation and implementation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development activities and contribute to both team and individual project work.
- Assist with engineering builds and testing, helping validate designs and support the development of new products and solutions.
- Work on assigned design and development tasks, taking ownership of deliverables and supporting technical documentation and reporting.
- Create and evaluate mechanical designs, applying engineering principles and problem-solving skills to real-world challenges.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and vendors to support component procurement and project execution while gaining exposure to industry best practices.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with junior standing or higher by Summer 2027.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; experience with solid modeling and product design is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from others.
- Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a desire to gain hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
