What You’ll Be Doing
- Move materials between warehouse, production floor, and other locations to keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, FIFO practices, and careful tracking of stock movement.
- Support production by disbursing raw materials to the manufacturing floor and replenishing locations.
- Handle shipping and receiving by unloading/loading trucks and processing orders with carriers like UPS, DHL, FedEx, and LTL providers.
- Ensure safety and quality by keeping a clean, organized workplace and following all procedures to support compliance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1–3 months of related experience or training (1–2 years preferred).
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to maintain accurate inventory and follow FIFO practices.
- Working knowledge of lift trucks; ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a vision test for safe forklift operation.
- Dependable team player with a commitment to safety and quality.
