The Inside Sales Engineer will support the sales team in achieving and exceeding growth targets within the Industrial Refrigeration (IR) sector, working closely with contractors and OEMs. Key responsibilities include preparing accurate sales quotations and addressing technical inquiries related to Power Panels, Distributed Control Panels, and PLC-based supervisory control systems. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders such as Sales Managers, External Sales Representatives, Refrigeration Contractors, and End Users. Proactive follow-up on quotations, via coordination with the sales team, representatives, or direct customer outreach, is essential to ensure timely responses and maximize business opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing
Primary duties include:

• Preparing quotations for industrial refrigeration solutions, including Power Panels, Distributed Control Systems, and PLCs
• Enhancing and supporting quotation and order processes, and resolving technical and commercial customer issues
• Following up on quotations with sales teams, contractors, customers, and coordinating with the Business Development Manager
• Assisting with sales initiatives, identifying business opportunities, and promoting Danfoss products
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering training or presentations to customers and internal teams
• Collaborating on product development, managing quality claims, and gathering market intelligence
  
  

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of Instrumentation & Controls/Sensors and related signals (4-20mA/0-10V, etc.)
• Experience with control voltage circuits (24V-120V)
• Familiarity with 3-phase power, low to medium voltage equipment, and components such as Reactors, Drives, Soft Starters, and Transformers
• Understanding of Power Panel components
• Basic knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration Systems and Equipment
• Ability to read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and electrical schematics using AutoCAD or similar software
• 2-5 years of relevant industry experience in technical sales or sales support (preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and Salesforce
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven track record of performance

Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000.
