What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and machine safety assessments, and recommend practical improvements to reduce risk
- Support chemical risk assessments, procedure updates, and compliance activities across the facility
- Participate in monthly safety committee meetings, helping track and close action items
- Create and deliver training materials, toolbox talks, and safety communications for employees
- Assist with train-the-trainer sessions and help educate employees on safe equipment use
- You’re currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Studies, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- You communicate clearly and confidently, and enjoy working with people at all levels of the organization
- You’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects
- You’re curious, proactive, and willing to respectfully challenge existing processes to improve safety
- You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office tools to document, analyze, and present information
