The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing. They will utilize a work order and build a unit based on the design plan given to them. They will need a general knowledge of how to use basic hand tools such as impact drill and ability to read a tape measure.

What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Report directly to Team leader and/or Production Manager
- Perform all unit assembly activities.
- Ensure manufacturing conformance to design specifications.
- Maintain test and assembly tools and equipment.
- Operate Forklift and Overhead Crane
- Assist other areas of production when and where required by assembly supervisor
- Maintain tidy working area.
- Practice safety in the workplace.
The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Understand test processes and requirements
- Ability to operate Hydro-test equipment.
- Basic understanding of metric conversion calculations
