We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This paid position offers hands-on experience in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and site operations. Duties
- Assist experienced plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding apparatus safely and effectively.
- Support the assembly of plumbing components and participate in remodeling or maintenance projects as directed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Gain knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and basic math required for measurements and calculations.
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in construction, plumbing, or related fields is required.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of schematics, blueprints reading, and mechanical concepts is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while demonstrating eagerness to learn new skills.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Prior experience in construction site work or maintenance person roles is a plus but not mandatory.
