Low Voltage Apprentice (Voice, Data, Video)

Looking for motivated applicants with the drive to succeed in the ever growing fields of Voice, Data, Security, and Video Systems. Based out of Redding, CA - the successful candidate will work under the supervision of a journeyman technician as it relates to the day-to-day operations as a field technician. The function of this position is the installation of new telecommunication systems while maintaining a current knowledge base of industry standards, products and the necessary skills to install, terminate, program, and trouble shoot moderate to advanced installations. A successful candidate for this position must be able to demonstrate the abilities to be reliable, accurately complete paperwork such as timesheets, dailies, system documentation; as-build's and possesses a working knowledge of the products actively installed in the Telecommunication Industry.
Prior experience is recommended.

Minimum Application Requirements
1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply. Proof required with the submittal of application.
2. Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or an equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate, a High School Proficiency Certificate, a College Diploma, or equivalent education. Proof required with the submittal of application.
3. Applicants must possess a Valid California Driver's license – Clean Driving Record
Successful applicants must join WECA's (Western Electrical Contractors Association) VDV (Voice, Data, Video) Apprenticeship Program before hire. The following requirements are required to join WECA's VDV apprenticeship program:
1. Color Identification Test
2. Basic Skills Test– includes sections on measurement, reading, and arithmetic
3. Multi-Craft Aptitude Test
