Your Role: As our Preventive Facilities Technician, you ensure our facility's continued operation through dedicated preventive measures and upkeep tasks. Embrace a pivotal role that balances independence and teamwork within our maintenance crew.
Working Routine:
Shift Pattern: 2-2-3
Work Hours: 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM
Located in bustling Pensacola, Florida, this position requires onsite dedication and expertise as part of the Maintenance Department under the oversight of the Facilities Manager.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensure facility integrity through various tasks like painting and performing mechanical replacements or minor construction duties.
- Perform preventative maintenance such as lubrication and parts replacement on essential machinery.
- Maintain building exteriors through rust management and general cleaning tasks.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED with extensive experience in building/facility maintenance.
- Strong competency using typical tools of the trade.
- Knowledge in handling industrial cleaning solutions.
Physical Demands:
- Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 40lbs often.
- Requires sustained physical activity, including standing and reaching.
Bonus Skills:
- Experienced with high lifts.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools for more precise tasks.
