Dana Transport has an immediate opening for a Tank Wash Technician to join our team at the North Grafton, MA terminal. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a hands-on environment, we want to hear from you! No experience? No problem! We provide training for the right person.
The Tank Wash Technician cleans trailers, tractors, and peripheral equipment to meet company and customer quality standards. This role ensures compliance with safety protocols and proper waste management practices while maintaining accurate cleaning records.
Key Responsibilities of the Tank Wash Technician
- Clean trailers, tractors, and equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
- Wash trailer interiors, exteriors, valves, fittings, and hoses.
- Ensure all cleaned trailers are dry, odor-free, and ready for service.
- Inspect and replace gaskets, valves, and other components as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and hazardous waste management.
Qualifications of the Tank Wash Technician
- Class D driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Good communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be able to read and comprehend SDS (Safety Data Sheet).
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and non-climate-controlled environments.
- Must be able to use hand tools safely.
- Must submit to and pass a non-DOT drug screen and physical, including qualifications for respirator fitness.
Work Schedule of the Tank Wash Technician
- Stable, full-time work Monday to Friday, 8 to 10-hour shifts
