POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform operational checks, preventative maintenance, and breakdown maintenance on high-pressure boilers, low-pressure heating systems, heat distribution systems, ventilation, chillers, and air handling systems; assist maintenance team with the upkeep of processing equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):
• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on high-pressure boilers, exhaust fans, air compressors, fire pumps, radiation pumps, controls, chillers and air handling units.
• Maintain safe and efficient boiler operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs, including lubrication, calibration, run-out measurement, component alignment, and observation on high-pressure boilers and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform emergency/breakdown maintenance to support continuous range operations.
• Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and other required documentation.
• Assist maintenance team with unplanned breakdowns of processing equipment.
• Communicate with facility contacts and management.
• Responds to and resolves emergency calls for broken or frozen pipes, power outages that cause equipment to shut down, boiler failure, and other situations requiring immediate attention, including after-hours emergencies.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including work area cleanup upon task completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of three (3) years of boiler operation, HVAC maintenance, electric/electronic controls experience.
· Valid boiler license is preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Proficiency in pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, and hydraulics.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Willing and able to work overtime as needed.
