Overview
Dan Cristiani Excavating is a contractor with a diverse group of related companies licensed to perform work around the Midwest. We have worked hard for over 54 years to offer a wealth of technical expertise in all areas of utility construction, and excavating services, including earth moving, land clearing, and demolition. We have broad experience in stormwater drainage, water lines, sanitary lines, and stormwater retention.
We are looking to add a team member that is passionate about driving growth and opportunities for the company. They would coordinate with Project Management teams, Estimating, Superintendents, and Foremen to complete project scope and meet quality standards.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide project management/estimator teams with appropriate documents to create customer takeoff
- Assist Project Managers with project tasks (schedules, document and data management, tracking, deadlines etc.)
- Work in close communication with site supervisors and others externally and internally to schedule bid and documents on time and accurately
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to interpret plans and drawings.
- Work closely with project management and estimators of clients pricing verification and ensure Purchase orders or quote acceptance is complete prior to scheduling
- Contribute to accounts receivable performance by providing accurate, timely information to internal and external stakeholders, with consistent follow-up and communication to secure prompt payment of invoices
- Assist with processing and entry of project change orders
- Monitor and update client portals as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Physical ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Travel to the site as project/jobs require.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent degree; minimum of 2 years of experience OR
- Associates degree; minimum of 4 years of experience OR
- High school diploma; minimum of 6 years of experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Project coordination,
- Budget/accounting coordination,
- Financial management, tracking & analysis
- Analysis and application of operational reports
- Experience in project management and/or operations management, or related industry experience
- Experience working in Project Management applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Deltek)
SCHEDULE:
- Full- Time Position, 1st Shift
- Work Location: Charlestown IN, In person
- Expected hours: Standard company business hours
- Monday to Friday
