Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and skilled Tow Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in commercial driving, with the ability to operate various types of tow trucks, including flatbeds. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the capability to manage conflicts effectively while providing roadside assistance to customers in need.
This position also offers an Attendance, Performance and Safety Bonus
Duties
- Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently, including flatbed models, to transport vehicles.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring minimal damage during the process.
- Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and vehicle conditions.
- Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Manage conflicts professionally and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the towing process.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating tow trucks, particularly flatbed models.
- Must have DOT physical or willing to obtain one.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations with customers.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical capability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with towing operations.
