Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Perform venipuncture and other procedures as required for patient diagnostics.
- Offer infant care when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of young patients.
- Participate in sterile processing of medical instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in managing medical records efficiently.
- Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is an asset.
- Skilled in venipuncture techniques for blood draws.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles is beneficial.
