The Dallastown Area School District is seeking to fill a Full-Time, 10 Month Classroom Paraprofessional: In-School Suspension position at Dallastown Area Middle and High School beginning the start of the 2026-2027 school year. . Ideal candidate will play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success by supporting the teacher in the delivery of supports and services.

- Hours - 7:00a.m. - 3:00p.m, which is 7.50 working hours with an 30 minute unpaid lunch
- Your work schedule and pay will follow student attendance full and half day during the school year - approximately 177 student days mid-August-early June. Additional days may be arranged by your supervisor
- For a full school year, your bi-weekly pay will typically begin mid-September and continue through late-June
- Monitor student behavior and report progress according to approved policies and procedures
- Assist students with assignments, study habits, and classroom behavior skills
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Immediate/continued inclusion in Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS),
- Six (6) Paid Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Good Friday
- After a successful probationary period of 90 calendar days, you'll receive Paid Leave: 3 Personal Days and 10 Sick Days (may be pro-rated based on date of hire)
- If applicable, Paid Bereavement Leave and Jury Duty Supplemental Pay
