Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. This role is unique in that it supports both clinical and front office functions. You’ll assist providers with patient care while also helping keep the front desk running smoothly to ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Room patients promptly and take vitals, medical histories, and prepare charts
- Assist providers by maintaining clinic flow and keeping schedules on time
- Schedule appointments and sleep studies, and communicate with patients regarding follow-up needs
- Create, maintain, and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Perform front office duties, including answering phones, checking patients in/out, and handling general inquiries
- Collaborate with the office manager and clinical team to address workflow or patient concerns
- Be knowledgeable and adaptable in using clinic software, medical equipment, and office systems
- Assist patients with PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) setups, fittings, and equipment education
- Communicate and coordinate with outside suppliers for equipment orders, deliveries, and troubleshooting
- Support ongoing clinic needs by performing miscellaneous administrative or operational tasks as needed
- Participate in marketing, outreach, and community engagement efforts to promote clinic services

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Basic understanding of medical office practices and patient flow.
- Flexible to work in both Plano and McKinney offices as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no evenings or weekends, early Friday close at 3:00 PM.
Pay: Competitive, based on experience (to be discussed in interview).
