Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission that offers a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. Responsibilities
In collaboration with the manager/director of Performance Improvement, the coordinator is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Activities include but are not limited to chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies, and staff education regarding core measures and updates regarding new and enhance indicators.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. State RN Licensure required.2. Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field preferred.3. Excellent computer skills are required including proficiency in (MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).4. Experience in reviewing charts for care issues.5. Detail oriented organizational skills.6. Must be able to handle multiple cases, directions and be able to follow-through.7. Good communication skills both verbal and written.8. Experience with Medical Staff communication a must.9. Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with exceptional professional work ethics.10. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database and typing.Employment Status
