We are seeking a Medical Biller , sometimes referred to as a Hospital Billing Specialist, Patient Accounts Representative or Insurance Billing Specialist. As our Medical Biller, you will manage patient billing and insurance claims in our Physician Group or Hospital . The Medical Biller will ensure accurate coding, timely reimbursements and clear communication between patients, insurers, and our medical group or hospital departments .

Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8-hour – 8:00am to 4 : 3 0pm
Location: Dallas Medical Physician Group – Mesquite , TX

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Review patient charts and code insurance information for accurate insurance billing
- Submit insurance claims and ensure timely reimbursement
- Follow up on insurance denials or unpaid insurance claims and correct errors or insurance codes
- Prepare and send patient bills for remaining balances
- Communicate with insurance companies and hospital departments to resolve billing issues
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
- Knowledge of multiple insurance billing requirements and 1-2 years of billing experience
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and Revenue Code structures
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required
