What are the responsibilities and job description for the Institutional Research Coordinator (Part-Time) position at Dallas Baptist University?
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Institutional Research Coordinator works under the leadership of the Assistant Provost for Accreditation and Institutional Effectiveness to assist in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting institutional data to support effective decision-making and both internal and external reporting. This position works with student data, academic data, and operational data to produce accurate information for reports and dashboards for various university leaders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience or knowledge in statistics or data analysis with strong problem-solving skills and an ability to communicate clearly to varied audiences.
- Ability to master the use of a variety of online platforms in addition to being skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other Office products.
BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with data extraction, cleaning, validation, and analysis from university systems.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for institutional leaders, academic departments, and administrative offices.
- Support internal reporting related to student achievement, enrollment, retention, graduation, course outcomes, student demographics, faculty ratios, and academic performance.
- Assist with external reporting requirements, including IPEDS, state, accreditation, and other compliance-related reports.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, charts, dashboards, and data summaries.
- Support assessment and accreditation projects by organizing and analyzing evidence and outcomes data.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA and university data governance policies.
- Other related duties as assigned.

This is a part-time position.

This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211
Qualifications:
- Must be a Christian who is a member of a church that holds Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior, and who holds solely the Old Testament and the New Testament as sacred Scriptures.
- Must be an active member of a local evangelical church.
