We are seeking a Talent Sourcing Specialist for a leading Investment Management firm in Boston, MA. This role supports global hiring initiatives, with a strong focus on IT recruitment. The Talent Sourcing Specialist will identify, engage, and build relationships with top candidates through diverse sourcing strategies, helping to strengthen talent pipelines for current and future needs. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of sourcing experience, preferably focused on IT roles within financial services, investment management, or a related industry.
This role is based in Boston, MA and supports a hybrid work-model, consisting of 3 onsite days and 2 remote days per week. This is a 6 month contract position that will pay between $35-$45/hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities:
Strategically source and identify top talent across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, social media, and niche industry platforms.
Build, engage, and maintain robust candidate pipelines to support both immediate and long-term hiring needs.
Conduct proactive outreach and relationship-building with passive candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience from first contact onward.
Craft and deliver effective outreach messages to attract both active and passive talent.
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, market trends, and target profiles.
Screen candidates for skills, experience, and alignment before submitting to recruiting partners.
Track sourcing activity, pipeline status, and candidate progress within the firm’s applicant tracking system (Workday).
Utilize analytics and sourcing tools to evaluate performance and recommend improvements to sourcing strategies.
Provide additional recruiting and sourcing support as needed.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2–5 years of experience in a talent sourcing or recruiting role, with a focus on IT hiring.
Prior experience in financial services, investment management, or a related industry strongly preferred.
Proven ability to leverage a range of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, talent mapping, competitive research, and professional networking.
Experience with Workday preferred.
Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, and similar platforms.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-through abilities.
