They are looking to bring on a Senior Staff Accountant to their team who will be an avid contributor to the firm’s accounting and reporting functions. This is a full-time opportunity that is offering up to 120K base, depending on level and relevant experience.

They are looking to bring on a Senior Staff Accountant to their team who will be an avid contributor to the firm’s accounting and reporting functions. This is a full-time opportunity that is offering up to 120K base, depending on level and relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operating expenses and accruals through detailed account analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and performance tracking
- Support quarterly and annual SEC filings, contributing to timely, compliant external reporting
- Own key aspects of the month-end close, including journal entries, general ledger analysis, and reconciliation of complex accounts
- Partner with internal and external auditors to support audits, ensure SOX and US GAAP compliance, and identify process improvement opportunities
- Manage corporate insurance programs, including renewals, claims, and risk mitigation
- Support treasury operations, including cash forecasting, banking administration, and maintenance of required documentation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects that enhance efficiency, controls, and collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 4 years of accounting experience (or 3 years with CPA or Master’s degree)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting requirements
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills; ERP experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and solve complex problems
