Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting - Boston, MA (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Accountant role with a leading financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Senior Accountant will be embedded within the Corporate Accounting Organization, supporting the monthly close process, intercompany accounting, third-party debt reporting, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong foundation in GAAP and intercompany processes.
This is a 3-month contract position paying between $50-$70/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model, with 3 days on-site per week in Boston, MA (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and 2 days working from home (Monday and Friday).

The Senior Accountant will be embedded within the Corporate Accounting Organization, supporting the monthly close process, intercompany accounting, third-party debt reporting, and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries for third-party debt (interest, amortization, financing costs)
- Perform monthly reconciliations against support schedules and lender statements.
- Support corporate allocations and intercompany analysis
- Manage intercompany activity (entries, invoicing, settlements, and reconciliations)
- Investigate and resolve intercompany variances
- Maintain intercompany note tracker and related GL reconciliations (income, expenses, payables/receivables, taxes)
- Assist with financial reporting and consolidations (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Support audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors
- Provide additional support as needed
- Bachelor’s in Accounting required; CPA/MBA preferred
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting processes
- Foreign exchange experience preferred
- Experience with Oracle, ERP systems, ARCS, or SmartView preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Approximately 5% travel may be required.
Salary : $50 - $70
