Office Manager - Accounting Firm in Cape Cod, MA
Our client, located on Cape Cod, is a public accounting firm. The firm is privately held and has about 20 employees. The firm offers 2 primary services to its customers: bookkeeping services and tax return preparation. The Office Manager runs the entire operation, reporting to the owner. The Office Manager will have some tax clients in addition to the office oversight. The Office Manager is a go-to person for simple operational issues and basic tax questions. The more complex issues will be handled by the owner with the help of the Office Manager.
Due to the light tax work, the ideal professional for the role is someone with some tax knowledge. If this professional has an EA, that would be ideal, but not required. This is an onsite role 5 days a week. Due to the nature of their services, some overtime is required during busy seasons. Overtime is paid on an hourly basis for the actual hours worked. - Bachelor's Degree - accounting or business is preferred
- Tax return preparation
- Office management experience
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Highly Organized
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- QuickBooks & Tax software knowledge
- Salary $65,000-$70,000 plus overtime
