Family Law Litigation Attorney - Acton, MA (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates for a Family Law Litigation Attorney at a law firm located in Acton, MA, 01720. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of family law litigation experience.
On-site 3 days per week
Yearly Compensation: $120K-$150K (based on relative work experience)

Responsibilities
- Draft and file high-quality legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests (interrogatories, document requests, depositions), affidavits, settlement agreements, and pretrial memoranda.
- Conduct legal research on Massachusetts family law issues, prepare memoranda, and analyze case strategy.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motion practice, depositions, and trials in Probate and Family Court.
- Participate in client intake, consultations, and ongoing communication to keep clients informed and manage expectations.
- Attend and prepare for mediations, settlement conferences, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Manage a caseload of family law matters.
- Maintain organized case files, meet all deadlines, and comply with the Massachusetts Rules of Civil Procedure and Probate and Family Court rules.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 2 years of family law litigation experience, including contested matters, drafting pleadings, discovery, and court appearances.
- Active license to practice law in Massachusetts, in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers.
- Admission to federal courts (e.g., District of Massachusetts) is highly preferred.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
