Event Marketing Manager - Financial Services - New York, NY
We are currently seeking candidates for an Event Marketing Manager to join a highly successful financial services firm located in New York, NY. The Event Marketing Manager will support the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact marketing programs and events, including internal initiatives, industry conferences, and client-facing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of event marketing and communications experience preferably within financial services.
This is a 12-month contract position that will pay $60-70/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position is required to be onsite 3-4 days per week in their New York office.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the full lifecycle of event marketing initiatives, from planning and logistics to execution and deliverables
Create and manage content for event-related communications, including invitations, promotional materials, and sales collateral
Handle registration processes and communication flows using internal tools and systems
Assist with the coordination and execution of industry conferences, including booth setup and promotional merchandise
Partner with sales, creative, compliance, and operations teams to ensure brand consistency and timely delivery
Monitor and report on event performance and ROI, supporting post-event analysis and insights
Effectively manage multiple projects at once, balancing shifting priorities and tight deadlines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
5–6 years of experience in event marketing or marketing communications, ideally within the financial services industry
Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects and deadlines concurrently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Hands-on experience using CVENT for event planning and registration
Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM for tracking events and campaign engagement
