Corporate Accountant - Barrington - Hybrid - Up to $75K

A large, RI-based organization is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, audit support, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly close process, including account reconciliations, financial analysis, and general ledger activities
• Assist with inventory and fixed asset accounting
• Help maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
• Partner with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits
• Contribute to financial reporting, operational improvements, and special accounting projects
• Provide analytical support to the finance leadership team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Understanding of US GAAP principles
• Experience with accounting systems/ERP platforms
