Accounts Payable Supervisor
We are currently seeking candidates for an Accounts Payable Supervisor opportunity to with a highly-successful, growing organization based in Woburn, MA. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee day-to-day AP operations, support audits, and ensure accuracy and compliance across all payment processes.
This is a 6 month contract opportunity, paying between $45–$55 per hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model (3 days on-site).

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee day-to-day AP operations, support audits, and ensure accuracy and compliance across all payment processes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day AP operations, in collaboration with offshore third-party vendors
- Review and process invoices in alignment with company policies and SOX requirements
- Manage month-end close deliverables, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Partner with procurement, operations, and vendors to resolve invoice, PO, and payment discrepancies
- Deliver AP-related analytics for audit support (US GAAP and statutory audits)
- Research returned payments and process stop payments or PO amendments
- Reconcile vendor statements to maintain account accuracy and standing
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of inquiries
- Identify and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency
- Provide additional support as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 6 years of full-cycle accounts payable accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle or NetSuite (preferred)
- Experience in a global or public company environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with 2- and 3-way match processes
- Strong understanding of AP workflows
- Previous experience managing Corporate Credit Card Programs a plus
- Detail-oriented and highly-motivated
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
