Accounting Manager – Remote (SaaS Industry)

We’re partnering with a growing SaaS company that is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a fully remote role that reports directly to the Corporate Controller and will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations and the monthly close process. The company places a strong emphasis on collaboration, professionalism, and team culture — they’re looking for someone who will serve as a trusted right hand to the Controller while building and mentoring a growing team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead accounting close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Oversee daily accounting operations with a focus on payroll, cash management, AP, and operating expenses

• Supervise and mentor a team of 2 accountants, with plans to expand the group in the near future

• Review and improve accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency

• Manage vendor, payroll, and banking relationships while supporting external audit requests

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and tax regulations (payroll, income, property, and local taxes)

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• 5 years of progressive accounting experience (public/private mix strongly preferred, but SaaS-only private experience will be considered)

• Strong understanding of US GAAP (ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, ASC 718)

• CPA strongly preferred

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, respectful leadership style — cultural fit is critical

• Strong systems skills (Intacct and Nexonia a plus; advanced Excel expected)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $120,000 – $145,000

• Bonus: 15% target, paid quarterly and tied to company sales performance
