Minimum Required Education
- Bachelor's degree.
- Degree equivalency: 6 years of relevant experience.
- 9 years of related IT experience.
- 2 years in corporate planning or strategic development (can be concurrent).
- Master's degree.
- 11 years of related IT experience.
- 4 years in corporate planning or strategic development (can be concurrent).
- IBM z/OS storage environments.
- Creating storage management utilization reports.
- Initialization and configuration of DASD devices.
- DFSMSdss full-volume and logical dataset dump and restore.
- Strong IBM z/OS storage administration experience.
- Coding SMS Client routines.
- Using ISMF to translate, validate, and activate Client routines, and to define and maintain SMS constructs.
- HSM configuration and administration.
- Monitoring SMS storage group utilization.
- RMM configuration and administration.
- Working knowledge of Dino Software T-REX and UDM products.
- Working knowledge of Luminex Mainframe Virtual Tape (MVT), storage pools, the LSCRUP process, and the Luminex GUI.
- IBM TDMF for z/OS.
- Working knowledge of Dell EMC PowerMax and SRDF replication.
- Exploitation of zEDC.
- Operations team with 3 people directly on this team, within a larger group of 26.
- Dependable, technically strong, and collaborative team focused on keeping daily operations running while improving and modernizing the environments.
