An established Data Center developer and operator within the digital and mission-critical sector is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex technical construction projects across hyperscale campuses.
This role is ideal for a driven construction professional with experience managing high-value commercial or critical environment projects from pre-construction through final delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating design, procurement, contractor management, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale construction projects through all phases of development
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, engineering teams, procurement functions, and operational stakeholders
- Drive project delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Support construction safety initiatives and ensure compliance with site health & safety standards
- Review design documentation to identify cost efficiencies, buildability improvements, and project risks
- Contribute to tender preparation and contractor selection processes
- Manage bid evaluations, scope alignment, and commercial negotiations
- Oversee procurement schedules and critical equipment delivery coordination
- Track RFIs, technical submissions, and project documentation workflows
- Monitor project financials, forecasts, reporting, and budget variances
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and cash flow projections
- Review contractor applications, progress claims, and change order submissions
- Deliver regular project reporting and stakeholder updates across multiple active developments
- Support successful project closeout and operational handover activities
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience managing commercial or technically complex construction projects
- Previous exposure to data centers, mission critical facilities, industrial infrastructure, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of construction delivery methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience using industry platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, or comparable project management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Willingness to travel periodically to project sites as required
