Role Description The Field Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Surprise, AZ. This position is responsible for traveling to customer sites to install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crushing and screening equipment and related machinery. Day-to-day tasks include performing mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting, replacing parts and wear components, completing preventive maintenance, and documenting work performed. The technician will collaborate with service coordinators and customers to schedule work, explain findings, and recommend solutions that improve equipment safety, reliability, and uptime. The role also involves adhering to all safety procedures, maintaining tools and service vehicles in good condition, and supporting occasional equipment rebuilds and retrofits as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documenting service activities.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to work professionally with clients and internal teams on-site.
- Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with company and site policies.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations as required.
- Prior experience in mining, aggregates, or heavy equipment service is preferred; vocational or technical training in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field is beneficial.
