ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to drive execution in a fast-paced startup environment. This person will bring a strong understanding of software engineering and product development, along with the organization and leadership needed to keep complex initiatives moving forward. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, product, leadership, and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment, remove blockers, and keep priorities on track. You will lead day-to-day coordination across technical and cross-functional workstreams, support team check-ins and operating rhythms, and create clarity around priorities, ownership, and progress. The ideal candidate is comfortable working alongside software engineers, understands how development teams operate, and can translate technical work into actionable plans and clear communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage technical projects from planning through execution and delivery.
- Lead daily standups and other team coordination meetings to drive progress, identify blockers, and maintain alignment.
- Partner closely with software engineering, product, design, and leadership teams to coordinate priorities and timelines.
- Drive cross-functional projects, ensuring clear ownership, communication, and follow-through.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, status updates, and documentation.
- Translate technical concepts, dependencies, and risks into clear communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor project scope, milestones, and deliverables to ensure work stays on track.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and resource gaps early and proactively drive solutions.
- Support process improvement across planning, prioritization, and execution workflows.
- Create structure and accountability in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in software, SaaS, or startup environments.
- Strong understanding of software development and product delivery, with a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in AI-augmented, agent-driven engineering environments.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to fast-moving, evolving environments while leading cross-functional projects across teams.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Linear, as well as technical concepts including APIs, cloud infrastructure, system integrations, and data workflows.
