JOB SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting walk-in customers at the front counter, shipping and logistics responsibilities, customer data gathering and recording, and other front office duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with various office clerical duties, including shipping and logistics duties
- Assist customers at the front desk with selecting services to meet their needs, interpreting reports, sample status, etc.
- Set up new customer accounts in system database
- Assist with customer inquiries
- Assist with data entry of customer results
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Previous customer service experience (1-2 years), required
- Associate’s degree (Dairy Nutrition, Feed & Forage), preferred
- Must have working experience with excel programs, required
