Job Summary

In this fast-paced position, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing delicious food and treats, operating POS systems, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve food items, including ice cream treats, burgers, fries, and other menu offerings
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining areas, and equipment sanitation
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy
• Assist in food handling procedures following food safety standards and proper sanitation protocols
• Restock supplies as needed and ensure kitchen equipment is operating correctly
• Support team members with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy environment for guests

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety guidelines
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Experience in food handling, sanitation, or restaurant operations is advantageous
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced setting
• Previous retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
