About the Role
At Dairy One, our people are at the heart of everything we do—and we’re looking for an HR Associate who’s excited to help shape an outstanding employee experience from day one. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-first environment, enjoys variety, and wants to make a meaningful impact. During the first 3–6 months, this role will focus heavily on recruitment (50–75% of time), helping strengthen hiring processes across the organization.
What You'll Do
Recruit & Attract Great People:
- Post and manage all open positions across multiple recruiting platforms
- Conduct initial candidate screens and guide early hiring process
- Partner with hiring managers
- Improve recruiting strategies
Create Meaningful First Impressions:
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including exit interviews
- Improve onboarding experience
- Facilitate new hire cohort sessions
Be a Go-To HR Resource:
- Answer employee questions (benefits, Paycom, policies, leave balances)
- Provide clear HR guidance
-Act as a liaison between staff and management
Support Key HR Processes:
- Administer Leaves of Absence
- Manage Workers’ Compensation claims
- Handle unemployment responses
-Maintain accurate, confidential employee records
-Track performance reviews
Contribute to Employee Relations:
- Assist with employee concerns and investigations
Support Payroll Continuity:
- Provide payroll backup support
Enhance Engagement & Culture:
- Support engagement initiatives
- Participate in one-on-one check-ins and focus groups
- Contribute to Employee Engagement Team

Qualifications:What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years HR or recruiting experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
Preferred:
- HRIS experience (Paycom a plus)
- Exposure to recruiting, onboarding, or employee relations
Salary : $22 - $26
