About the Role:

The Night Audit Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our real estate development and management services during the night shift. This position is responsible for reconciling daily financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. The Night Audit Clerk will also assist in addressing any guest inquiries or issues that arise during the night, providing exceptional customer service. By maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies, this role contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and integrity of our operations. Ultimately, the Night Audit Clerk helps to create a seamless experience for both our clients and team members, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly overnight.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a clerical or accounting role, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with property management software and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of real estate regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management and relevant departments.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive operation and address any discrepancies.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong analytical abilities, which are essential for accurately reconciling financial transactions and preparing reports. Attention to detail is critical, as even minor discrepancies can lead to significant issues in financial reporting. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively addressing guest inquiries and collaborating with team members across departments. Familiarity with accounting software and property management systems will enhance efficiency in daily tasks and reporting.
