Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Area Sales Manager based in Houston, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Area Sales Manager is a leadership position and will have up to 8 direct reports managing Territory Sales Managers, develop and maintain relationships with clients, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and provide exceptional customer support. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets along with profitabillity targets, building sales budgets, generating leads, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Sales Management, Sales Leadership, Business Development, and Key Account Management
- Strong understanding of HVAC products, solutions, and industry dynamics
- Exceptional client relationship management and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- Prior experience in the HVAC industry or with technical sales is preferred
