Landscape Design Sales Position / Landscape Architect
Dahlkemper Landscape Architects & Contractors is a locally owned Landscape Design Build Firm providing a wide range of residential and commercial landscape design build services for Northwestern Pennsylvania for OVER 71 Years!
As Landscape Architects and designers we play a significant role in shaping our communities through the services we provide. We are looking for a passionate self oriented and goal driven individual to join our team.
We are seeking a landscape designer or landscape architect preferably with two or more years experience along with an eagerness to learn and develop residential design build sales skills.
Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and training from of our Design Staff and Owner, the position includes Start to finish landscape design sales of Initial contact (from interested client contacts), Site analysis and base mapping development, design ideation, refinement and sale of along with providing construction oversight. Projects will range from plantings, to hardscape patios, water features, pools, retaining walls and just about any outdoor living space or garden you can imagine. We also provide environmental sensitive design and maintenance practices. There are never two jobs exactly the same and room for advancement.
Qualifications:
- Experience with landscape design sales preferably 2 years.
- A degree in Horticulture, design or Landscape Architecture a plus.
- Proficiency with computer drafting and rendering.
- Able to convert design to construction plans and sell it to clients.
- Good communication skills with clients and other trade contractors.
- Familiar with spreadsheets and project management process, a plus.
- Professional license not required.

Compensation:
This position has options for a base salary and added commissions or straight commissions based pay along with a benefits package including:

The pay for this position in Erie Pennsylvania is very competitive for the area based on experience, job-related knowledge, and skills of the candidate. Pay ranges from $50,000 to $90,000

Physical Qualifications
- Ability to balance office design and sales along with construction management.
- Physical dexterity and ability to negotiate a busy working area, including office and construction sites.
