As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will work closely with software developers, product teams, and QA professionals to design and maintain automated testing frameworks, integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines, and drive continuous improvement in software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for web, API, and mobile applications using Playwright.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish QA automation best practices and create comprehensive test cases that enhance application reliability and performance.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid feedback throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Execute automated and manual testing activities, analyze results, and partner with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Document automation frameworks, test strategies, and testing outcomes, providing data-driven recommendations for quality improvements.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements of testing processes, tools, and quality assurance standards.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4 years of experience in QA Automation Engineering or Software Test Automation.
- 2 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining test automation solutions using Playwright.
- Experience programming with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
- Working knowledge of SQL, API testing, Git version control, and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or a similar test management, work tracking, or CI/CD platform.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and testing results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience testing mobile applications and modern web platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing within enterprise-scale environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and continuous quality engineering practices.
- Familiarity with performance, regression, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Experience working within cloud-based development environments.
- Relevant software testing or automation certifications.
