As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that enhance the quality, reliability, and performance of web, mobile, and API-based applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications using modern automation tools and technologies.
- Develop automated test scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and technical teams to define testing strategies, create test cases, and improve application reliability.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Execute automated and manual test plans, analyze results, and partner with development teams to troubleshoot defects.
- Monitor test execution, track quality metrics, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain documentation for test frameworks, test cases, and quality assurance processes.
- Provide recommendations to improve software quality, testing efficiency, and release readiness.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance Automation Engineering or software test automation.
- Hands-on experience developing automated test frameworks and test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, TestComplete, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of API testing, SQL, Git, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience integrating automated testing within CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
- Ability to analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document testing processes and results.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications within distribution, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
- Exposure to cloud-based development and testing environments.
- Experience with test management and quality tracking tools.
- Knowledge of performance, regression, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous quality engineering principles.
- Relevant software testing or quality assurance certifications.
