About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support a large-scale technology rollout for a major U.S. retail organization. This initiative focuses on deploying new telecom circuits and SD-WAN infrastructure across hundreds of enterprise locations. In this role, you will work closely with telecom vendors, internal engineering teams, and local site leaders to ensure accurate readiness, smooth scheduling, and successful installation activities.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in telecom provisioning, network infrastructure, or multi-site technology rollouts.

Job Description

As a Project Coordinator, you will manage the day-to-day planning, communication, and tracking required to deploy DIA circuits and SD-WAN appliances across distributed retail locations. You will be responsible for validating site details, coordinating activities across internal and external teams, and ensuring all deployment tasks remain on schedule. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive communication style, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and vendor telecom project managers to ensure store readiness and prevent technician turnaways.
• Serve as the primary communication point for store leadership regarding scheduling and deployment activities.
• Validate Bills of Materials (BOM) prior to installation.
• Document and share detailed information on existing customer-premise equipment (Demarc, Cradlepoint, MDF, IDF).
• Schedule and manage multiple site visits for each location as needed.
• Review vendor quotes to ensure alignment with budget and project requirements.
• Track status, milestones, issues, and communications using Smartsheet.
• Partner with the Deployment Support team to verify deliverables and confirm that all required tasks meet the defined “definition of done.”
• Track and validate monthly recurring charges (MRC) and non-recurring charges (NRC) against approved quotes and construction allowances.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in telecom provisioning and circuit delivery.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure components and terminology.
• Demonstrated project coordination experience, preferably supporting large-scale telecom or circuit rollout initiatives.
• Working understanding of telecom rooms, structured cabling, CPE, and related networking components.
• Strong organizational, communication, and issue-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent schedules and stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Smartsheet for tracking and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills for status management and financial tracking.
• Experience using Slack, Outlook, or similar communication platforms.
• Background supporting Distributed Enterprise (Retail, Logistics, Multi-Site) technology deployments.
