Job Description
The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR team, with a strong focus on recruiting coordination and onboarding activities. This role helps ensure efficient hiring processes and supports day-to-day HR functions through scheduling, documentation, and system updates.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Administer employment-related assessments (including MESP and GAMB tests), including candidate communication and follow-up
- Support HR staff and hiring managers with applicant tracking and administrative recruiting tasks
- Coordinate and assist with new hire orientation activities
- Print, organize, and scan onboarding documentation into HR systems such as Workday
- Provide general administrative support across HR functions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Experience in administrative support, HR coordination, recruiting, or onboarding
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR platforms such as Workday
- Experience supporting hiring processes, including interviews and candidate communication
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
