Dagen Personnel is recruiting a Procurement Manager based in Irving/Las Colinas, TX, for a leading company focused on developing next-generation data center infrastructure.
This senior-level role will oversee the post-award commercial and contractual management of EPC projects through construction and closeout. Responsibilities include managing change orders, progress payments, claims, back-charges, warranties, contractual obligations, and the commercial coordination between owner-furnished mechanical and electrical equipment and EPC-installed scope. The position will work closely with construction, engineering, procurement, project controls, finance, and legal teams to manage commercial risk, control costs, and protect project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day administration of EPC agreements through construction and closeout.
- Lead change orders, claims, disputes, back-charges, and liquidated damages.
- Review progress payments, earned value, stored materials, retention, and lien waivers.
- Coordinate owner-furnished mechanical and electrical equipment with EPC construction activities.
- Monitor contractual obligations, project costs, forecasts, and commercial risks.
- Review RFIs, submittals, and design changes for commercial impact.
- Lead project closeout, final payments, warranties, punch lists, and lien resolution.
- Partner with construction, engineering, project controls, finance, legal, and procurement teams.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in EPC contract administration, construction contracts management, or owner's commercial management.
- Experience managing $50M EPC, EPCM, design-build, or similar construction agreements.
- Strong experience with change orders, claims, back-charges, and progress billing.
- Strong understanding of EPC contracts and commercial risk management.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, or heavy industrial construction experience.
- Experience with OFCI/CFCI delivery models and owner-furnished equipment.
- Familiarity with major data center mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with Procore, Kahua, e-Builder, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar platforms.
- CCM, PMP, or comparable certification.
Salary : $210,000 - $220,000
