What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Dagen?
We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking Material Handlers to join an oil & gas organization in Midland, Texas.
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the facility and designated work areas
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Identify materials using part numbers, labels, and written descriptions
- Manually move and organize materials on pallets, shelves, and storage locations
- Deliver materials from storage areas to production or designated work sites
- Count, weigh, and accurately record material movement on daily production reports
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and machinery
- Assemble crates and packaging materials as needed for product shipment and storage
- Attach labels, tags, and identifying information to materials and containers
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
