Experienced Pool Service Technician – MUST HAVE POOL EXPERIENCE
Dad’s Pool Service is looking for an experienced pool service technician to join our team. We service residential and commercial pools throughout Stockton and surrounding areas, and we are looking for someone who can step into a route and complete quality work without needing constant supervision.
This is not an entry-level position. You must have real pool service experience to be considered.
The right person must know how to properly clean pools, balance chemicals, identify equipment issues, and communicate repair needs clearly. You must also know how to use Skimmer for service notes, photos, checklists, and route documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing weekly pool service routes
- Testing and balancing pool chemicals
- Brushing, netting, vacuuming, and emptying baskets
- Checking pumps, filters, sweeps, plumbing, and other pool equipment
- Identifying broken or failing pool parts
- Taking clear photos of equipment or parts that may need replacement
- Providing accurate notes so the office can prepare customer estimates
- Communicating with the office regarding service issues, green pools, equipment problems, and repair needs
- Completing all required Skimmer notes, photos, and checklist items
- Staying on schedule and providing dependable service
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE pool technician experience
- MUST know how to use Skimmer or be very familiar with service-route apps
- Must have knowledge of pool equipment and common pool parts
- Must be able to diagnose visible equipment issues and report what may need repair or replacement
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
