Pool Repair Technician – Experienced Applicants Only
Dad Industries is looking for an experienced Pool Repair Technician to join our team. We are seeking someone dependable, knowledgeable, and able to diagnose and repair pool equipment with confidence.
This position is not entry-level. Applicants must have previous pool repair, pool service, or equipment repair experience.
Job Summary
The Pool Repair Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pool equipment and systems. This includes pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, plumbing, valves, pool sweeps, and other related equipment.
The right candidate must be able to identify repair needs, take clear photos, provide detailed notes, and communicate what parts or repairs may be needed so accurate estimates can be prepared for customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose pool equipment issues
- Repair and replace pool pumps, filters, heaters, valves, plumbing, and related parts
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues with pool systems
- Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
- Clean and service filters when needed
- Check water flow, suction, pressure, leaks, and equipment performance
- Identify broken, failing, or worn parts
- Take clear service photos and document findings
- Provide detailed notes for customer estimates and repair recommendations
- Complete work orders accurately and on time
- Follow company safety procedures and service standards
- Communicate clearly with the office, customers, and team members
Qualifications
- Must have pool repair or pool service experience
- Must understand pool equipment, parts, and system operation
- Must be able to diagnose common pool equipment issues
- Must be comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment
- Experience with pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, valves, and pool sweeps preferred
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
