As a Payroll Specialist at DaBella, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states and support over 2,000 employees. You’ll ensure timely, accurate payroll while maintaining compliance and helping team members navigate payroll inquiries. You’ll also play a key role in training and supporting junior staff.

Job Responsibilities
- Processing full-cycle payroll weekly and bi-weekly
- Managing high-volume payroll data using Excel and Paycom
- Running timesheet and audit reports to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Issuing manual checks, calculating bonuses and commissions
- Collaborating with HR to resolve payroll discrepancies
- Maintaining multi-state payroll knowledge including final check laws and garnishments
- Responding to employee and management payroll inquiries with 24-hour turnaround
- Assisting in training and mentoring payroll assistants
- Handling sensitive employee data with professionalism and confidentiality
- High School Diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred)
- 2 years of payroll experience
- 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong Excel skills – comfortable with formulas and pivot tables
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems like Paycom, ADP, or Paychex
- Knowledge of payroll laws and wage garnishments (multi-state preferred)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to handle confidential information with integrity
- Experience in the sales or home improvement industry is a plus
